Azure Ray, a new favorite.

I just barely started listening to these ladies, and holy shit, am I glad I started. Think Gregory and the Hawk, Orenda Fink (she's in the group. So, there's no surprise there.), and a little bit of CocoRosie and Imogen Heap. This music is making my head spin from the greatness. My eardrums are in love. Download their self-titled EP and listen for yourself.

Wild Sweet Orange. Your ears will thank you.

The only thing I can really say is that you NEED TO GIVE THESE GUYS A CHANCE. These guys are my new City and Colour. If you're a fan of good acoustic/mellow sounding tunes, definitely give this album a listen.

Robert Pattinson, horrible actor, amazing musician,

You may know him as the sparkly, romantic vampire from the box office smashing Twilight movie series. But I have come to know him for a much better reason. I may like Twilight, but I also think Robert Pattinson is a shitty actor. Hands down. But his music, on the other hand, is literally some of the most interesting, brilliant material I have ever listened to. Hopefully you don't disagree. Here's the songs off of his myspace. Give them a listen and tell me what you think.

To A Close, our demo, and a story for your entertainment.

I joined the band in December of 09', I believe. At this time, I didn't have any experience at all playing hardcore. So, this was exciting for me.

We practiced almost every week trying to get ready to play shows. Our first one was at a house with Before the Sky and other bands that aren't even worth mentioning. The only cool thing about that night was SLB, the Grimlock cover, and Kent putting a hole through the wall.

I think our first real show after that was the Life or Death show at Baxter's House of Coffee. I remember being really nervous. The show, overall, went okay. But I do regret missing Life or Death to go get food. Bummer times 2.

Fast forward nearly 13 months, 7 or 8 shows, and some tee shirts later, we ended up calling it quits. Our last show was probably our best, minus it being moved to the Outer Rim. (Fuck that place.) In the end, I think it was a good run, and I had a lot of fun while it lasted. But keep a heads up for something new from all of us.

But here is our 2010 recordings. They're not the best, recording wise, but it's better than nothing. Listen at our myspace as well.
