Muchacho. I am now dead.

Muchacho is my buddy Alan's solo project. Him being my friend, you'd expect me to be speaking well of him for that purpose only. But that isn't the case. This music is genuinely fantastic. If you can get passed the recording quality, (the quality isn't even bad, you just have to blast your speakers to hear the music.) I'm sure that you'll enjoy the music just as much as I do. Seriously, check this out. I promise that you won't regret it.

I'm going to try and get him to send me his songs so I can upload them to mediafire, that way they're downloadable. But until then, if it even happens, listen on his myspace account.

The One AM Radio. I think I want to die.

I just barely discovered the mind-blowing music. And since then, it's been on repeat on my Ipod non-stop. The relaxing mixture of instrument use in his albums (not 100 percent sure he is a solo artist, or if there's a band as well.) brings emotions out of me that I haven't experienced since I first listened to the likes of Bon Iver, Damien Rice, or City and Colour. Though this genre is quite different from the genres of above artists, I feel that fans of them will love this.

This is honestly some of the best music I have listened to it a long time. Here is the link to my favorite album of his/theirs, so far. Enjoy.

Botch

I first heard of Botch a couple of months ago. I don't really know much about the band, but I guess they were a band from the late 90's to '02. They did 4 albums, and if I'm not mistaken, a compilation, or two. I also believe they were from Seattle. Again, not completely sure. But one thing I am sure of is that this band rules. Here are some links to my two favorite albums by them.

American Nervoso (1998)

An Anthology of Dead Ends (2002)

I haven't really listened to the other two albums. But once I do, I'll probably update this post with the rest of the links. But until then, enjoy.

Pretty awesome.

I had no idea that people could even do this. Glow in the dark tattoos. Blows my mind.

Azure Ray, a new favorite.

I just barely started listening to these ladies, and holy shit, am I glad I started. Think Gregory and the Hawk, Orenda Fink (she's in the group. So, there's no surprise there.), and a little bit of CocoRosie and Imogen Heap. This music is making my head spin from the greatness. My eardrums are in love. Download their self-titled EP and listen for yourself.

Wild Sweet Orange. Your ears will thank you.

The only thing I can really say is that you NEED TO GIVE THESE GUYS A CHANCE. These guys are my new City and Colour. If you're a fan of good acoustic/mellow sounding tunes, definitely give this album a listen.

Robert Pattinson, horrible actor, amazing musician,

You may know him as the sparkly, romantic vampire from the box office smashing Twilight movie series. But I have come to know him for a much better reason. I may like Twilight, but I also think Robert Pattinson is a shitty actor. Hands down. But his music, on the other hand, is literally some of the most interesting, brilliant material I have ever listened to. Hopefully you don't disagree. Here's the songs off of his myspace. Give them a listen and tell me what you think.
